In the presence of His Majesty The King, I was honoured to take part in this week’s celebrations in the gardens of Clarence House, to mark a significant milestone in the partnership between the @kingcharlesfund (KCCF) and @waitrose - the global sales of Waitrose Duchy Organic products have collectively raised a remarkable £50 million for deserving causes since 2009! • It was an immense pleasure to collaborate once again with the talented team at @fionacairnsltd for a very special cake to mark the occasion. Together, we crafted a special commemorative Iced Organic Rich Fruit cake, made with Waitrose Duchy Organic ingredients, with a design beautifully bringing together the artwork of both the KCCF and the Duchy Organic brand, finished with edible gold leaf. After being cut by His Majesty, the cake was shared with guests and Royal Household staff, with His Majesty even requesting a small slice be reserved for him to enjoy later! • In addition to the cake, guests enjoyed my breakfast-themed take on a cream tea: Breakfast Scones served with Duchy Organic Natural Greek Style Yogurt and Duchy Organic Seville Orange Fine Cut Marmalade. This, along with a selection of Duchy Organic Shortbread, was perfect for the sunny September celebration. The guests included representatives and participants from various good causes that have directly benefited from the fund, as well as a number of my fellow Waitrose Partners. It’s time to step into the glamour, indulgence and unapologetic flair of the 80s with @waitrose , as we unveil our most decadently scandalous and delicious range yet! Born in the 80s and celebrating my 40th this weekend, this launch feels particularly special - a joyful nod to a decade defined by big flavours, playful decadence and a touch of theatre. Think nostalgia, reimagined the Waitrose way... Part of our wider Noshtalgia campaign, the range cements Waitrose as the destination for elevated 80s-inspired food. We’re also partnering with @disneyplus to celebrate the return of “Rivals”, transporting viewers to 80s Rutshire, complete with a beautifully recreated vintage Waitrose store, brought to life with our heritage teams. Seeing it brought to life has been equally nostalgic for me, reminding me of shopping trips to @waitrose_stroud with my Nan as a child—from the pick-your-own olive and deli counters to the cafés, where we’d always pick up delicious gingerbread men - it looks just as I remember! Tune in from 15th May. Our nine-piece capsule collection has now landed in shops and online, bringing the spirit of the ‘80s power lunch to life with bold flavours and a playful sense of rivalry. Is it a croissant? Oh, go on… think outside the egg this Easter. At the home of food lovers, we’re always looking to bring a little theatre to the table – and this year, we’ve added just the right touch of ooh la la. Our croissant-inspired chocolates are a playful nod to classic pâtisserie, reimagined in the most indulgent way with luxuriously smooth blonde chocolate. Take the No.1 Blonde Chocolate Almond Croissant – a true showstopper. It’s generously coated in delicate, flaky almond pieces, then hand-finished with milk chocolate and roasted almonds for that irresistible crunch. It’s no wonder it’s been given the nod by the Good Housekeeping Taste Test – a beautifully crafted, grown-up treat that’s made for sharing (if you can bear to). Love is definitely in the air (and on the dessert menu) with our new No.1 Ruby Chocolate and Raspberry Mousses. As a personal standout star of this year’s award-winning @waitrose Valentine’s Meal Deal, these are designed to bring the patisserie experience straight to your dining table. These mousses are almost too pretty to eat; they feature a creamy white chocolate and raspberry mousse with a hidden raspberry compôte centre, all sitting on a crunchy base of ruby chocolate, freeze-dried raspberry pieces and feuilletine. Naturally pink and uniquely tangy, the ruby chocolate base provides the perfect crunch to complement the velvet-smooth mousse. Silky, tart, and crisp - a match made in dessert heaven.
