Well there’s another season over. Content to cap off a successful year of competition by becoming the 22nd fittest in my age category Worldwide. Actually happy with my efforts over the weekend amongst a really tough field, with programming changes & my first masters @crossfitgames appearance. Firstly, well done to all the other UK athletes, especially those who made podium. Thanks to all my sponsors, family, friends, clients, coaches, training partners, colleagues, management & members for supporting me as always. Every message of support honestly motivates me to continue fighting & competing in the sport I love. Having said this, with recent events, it has certainly lead me to appreciate certain things in life and cherish those close to me more than ever. Looking forward to some downtime before we get sweating all over again. Another brutal weekend… Great weekend on home turf in London for the @worldfitnessproject Tour Stop 1 šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ All the Brute Strength athletes performed brilliantly, but this doesn’t surprise me. The big thing I always take away from these comps is how the Brute squad is so relaxed yet focused, dialled in, and driven. I think this probably comes from Matt and El, and it definitely filters through to the athletes, leading them to be less stressed and more focused on their performance. I was looking after @tomkingdon this weekend. I’ve known Tom for a few years and have obviously seen him improve drastically, even more so in the past few months working with El. The first few events didn’t go great, not due to his ability, but other factors. This could have eaten him up, but he fronted up, found positives, and executed well, leading to a strong 15th place. Great resilience here, bro. I won’t go too much into the performances of Aimee, Ella, Aniol, and Dani because Frase can pick those apart, but what I will say is he has them fucking dialled in and ready for a massive year. To see Aimee on top of that podium just felt normal and hopefully she can top another one this year. I’m happy to help on their journey when I can and when I’m needed. All in all, London was great. The comp was great. The company was great. Coach hard, race hard, party harder! Onto online Masters semis this weekend… @brute.strength is where it’s at…

Great day at our first @brute.strength Training Camp of the year. Thank you to everyone who made the trip. It’s always quality time spent with our athletes, whether that’s making small adjustments, sharing useful tips, or helping them take away something that improves recovery, training, and overall performance. šŸ’” Sometimes it’s even simpler than that, just getting like minded people in a room, pushing hard, and raising the standard together.
