Since the day I started shooting, I’ve had this terrifying yet exciting fascination with shooting entirely on film. I’d take 36 photos, send the roll in to get developed, and maybe get a photo or two I liked out of it—but I’d continue to lean on my digital camera for the heavy lifting.
Recently, I’ve come around to learning and appreciating film photography. I’ve grown to stop and think before hitting the shutter.
I still love shooting digitally, and I’ll continue to do so until I can inevitably no longer afford SD cards, but it feels really good to learn something new.
