HAPPY.
For me, happiness isn’t a fixed state—it’s layered, like this work. It lives in fragments: in memory, in identity, in the quiet tension between past and present.
In this piece, joy exists alongside weight—the bold colors hold history, the patterns carry culture, and the faces reflect both softness and resilience. As an artist, happiness is not just celebration; it’s the freedom to tell these stories fully, without dilution.
To be happy is to create honestly. To hold complexity and still choose beauty.
Honored to be part of this group exhibition. @o.da_art
