If I was to recall what happened in 2025. This was the moment that pops in my head. A lot of hellos and a lot of goodbyes. More than that, an 18 year burden lifted.

11/2020: Visited Capitol Reef and Arches National Park. #mightyfive
Did a quick stop over at Capitol Reef for the night. Hiked Hickman’s Bridge in the morning before making my way to Moab.
Arriving in Moab I helped someone breaking in into their (so they said...) car with coat hanger. Popped open the door by taking the coat hanger and pulling the door lever from the inside. Something to remember if you accidentally lock your keys in your car.
The guy offered me golf clubs for helping him..but declined. Actually wanted his tent though... 🤔
After that, I made a short trip into Arches hoping to get a spot at Devils Playground but was completely filled.
Finishing a short hike, I left the park to find a campground and found one next to the river!

11/20: Birthday camping trip to Utah’s #mightfive
Park 2: Bryce Canyon National Park.
Buddy @todpolson joined us briefly on the trip with Jay 📸 and I.
Stayed in a yurt, hiked the Navajo Trail loop and made budaejigae or soldier stew (booty-jigae as I like to call it) for dinner.
After the the short hike the three of us parted ways, as I continued on to solo the rest of the trip to Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonland.

11/2020: For my birthday, I went on a one week camping trip to visit Utah’s #mightyfive .
Park 1: Zion National Park
Hiked Angel’s Landing (did the chain section), biked through the Pa’rus Trail and hiked the Narrows.
Understand why you could spend a week here. It felt like I only scratched the surface!

One of my favorite memories from #SDCC 2014 that actually changed my life. The beginning of friendships and continued camaraderie.
This was the year I met TRIGGER for the very first time! More importantly this is when I met @wakageek , @joey__jones , and @virtualboys who I consider to be close friends. @grantalexanderart invited @bobbyrubio and I to a drawing jam session. It was EPIC to watch Imaishi-san, Sushio, Yoshinari-san, Bobby and Grant sketching all in one room. Walked out in a haze and disbelief.
Remember turning to Bobby in the taxi and saying “What the fuck just happened? And why did we leave to go to the Mariott?”
6 months later I moved to Japan.
11 months later I joined USP.
3 years later we made the Indivisible OP.
5 years later PROMARE came out.
6 years later BNA.
That tiny seed planted during SDCC has done some amazing things for my career but more importantly it’s where I make new friends...to get ugly drunk with.
Been a super crazy summer! Three projects I worked on with @trigger_inc finally got released to the public!
Eternally grateful for letting me work on these titles.
