If you swipe through there are some resources to find places to donate to right now. This post states the obvious, and I don’t usually say things on social media because at times i feel like it can be counterproductive. For a while I felt like it was ok just to donate money and only talk about this with friends, family, and coworkers, but now I feel like that’s hypocritical, and makes me part of the problem. This doesn't mean that saying something online is all right, but this is bigger than me and people that benefit from priveleges the same why i do. And because of this it's time for me to urge others to put their money where their mouth is. DONATE DONATE DONATE!!! Listen to people and learn. Listen to black communities to see how you can best be of service to them and offer support in this ongoing time of crisis. Don’t make it their job to explain racism to you. Don’t be woke just to impress people. If you want to say something make sure it comes from your heart, not out of a desire for social approval. Enough is enough. Let’s stop repeating history. Black lives matter.
