Working internationally with environmental responsibility for @wildtopia.dk , a.o. means 'making travel worthwhile'. For the upcoming trip to New York, the guiding question has been: How can we use this journey in ways that also benefit others? This time, the answer includes collaborating with two extraordinary Nordic artists with powerful artistic and cultural relevance to strengthen their international presence and open new opportunities during the days in New York (7–16 January 2026) - and beyond. I’m really happy to be collaborating 1:1 with two Nordic artists/companies with exceptional potential for global impact to amplify their international opportunities and networks during our trip to New York. Regenerative Business Frameworks in the Arts — what could that look like? What if artists worked more like gardeners than fast suppliers? 🌿 Cultivating relationships, formats, and income over time - instead of starting from scratch or draining what already exists. This collaboration was seeded last January in New York and has been growing through shared conversations, care, and long-term thinking. By October 2025, a clearer path emerged. @gullisekse & @karentoftegaard , @reartica.no & @wildtopia.dk , came together within the ITER Changemaker programme ( delivered by @Juliesbicycle & @in_futurum ) to develop regenerative, practical frameworks that can serve not just us, but the wider field. We’re deeply grateful to @aceagrams , @kulturdir (NO) and @statenskunstfond (DK) for supporting this R&D work — helping us explore how regenerative frameworks can diversify income streams and strengthen artistic sustainability over time.
