Happy 10th anniversary to Yakuza 0 ๐ฅ๐ชฉ Join me in celebrating this occasion with this fanimated opening. This was a 80s-90s anime-inspired solo project done over 3 months, from concepts to the final animation. "Bubble", the Japanese opening theme sung by Shounan No Kaze, has very colorful and punchy lyrics reflecting the vibrant era of Japan's bubble economy in the 80s. I aimed to translate the meaning and energy of the song into a more stylistic medium while still trying to capture the essence of the game and its characters. I hope you will enjoy it!

Tried gold foil printing for the first time with my Elusive Samurai piece โจ Glad to have found @otomatoproductions that did gold foil printing, love the way it shines in different angles! ๐ This was also one of the works that was displayed in Off Hours (@off_hours.sg ) art exhibition that happened recently!

๐ด๐ข๐ต My first risograph print of Dr. Stone 2nd opening: 3 Primary Colours by Pelican Fanclub!! It might be my favourite opening from the series next to Casanova Posse. Kind of had this printed as actual risograph on a whim at @knucklesandnotch (thank you for processing the print!) From the digital concept, it's so cool seeing it in the medium I intended it to look like. Would definitely want to dabble into riso more in the future.

I never thought of seeing my own works, let alone the fanart I enjoy making, to be displayed in a gallery setting outside of screens and convention tables. Art exhibitions always felt like something meant for other kinds of artists.
Then, my friends invited me to organise one together which challenged that mindset. Suddenly it didn't feel so scary anymore. There's something about building something meaningful with people who believe in the same things you do.
Next weekend, our animations will be projected onto walls and characters living outside of the digital realm; the kind of things I used to daydream about but it's going to happen. Really looking forward to it and we warmly welcome you to visit!!

May I interest you in some Disney-esque Xeno (and some Stan) doodles? ๐คฒ He can be so theatrical sometimes that he might just start singing his villain song or something.
When it comes to character expressions and poses I always fall back on western animation concept work, they're such a gold standard for me. Even if I didn't manage to hit the style 100% it still helps a lot in making my drawings more lively.

Extra moments of my Suika cosplay which weren't in the process video. Making the cosplay was supposed to be a side activity do work on while doing my usual art, but honestly I ended up shifting a lot of focus to it and became a main project lmao.
The incident with the resin lens is so dumb and I'm bummed about it. But I still want to thank my friend @stl_archivist for taking the time to make them ๐ I guess making a comic about it is my way of memorialising the effort and reminding myself that even though things don't go as planned, I need to work around it and keep pushing forward.
