Set within the newly reimagined @amberlaneestate - A private 2 1/2 acre retreat nestled in the heart of Bowral, NSW standing proudly alongside its charming sister residence, Rose Cottage both reflecting the Estate’s quiet luxury and elevated living.
Guided by our biophilic design principles, Romney House was envisioned to dissolve the lines between indoors and out. Natural materials and expansive glazing invites warmth and light deep into the home, transcending the seasons and allowing the surrounding landscape to take center stage within each space.
Here, every detail has been crafted to elevate everyday living where form meets function, European elegance blends with eclectic romanticism, and the beauty of the Southern Highlands is woven into every thoughtfully curated space.

LOKAHI ~ A home with an undeniable harmony between nature and architecture.
As the days grow warmer, this home becomes a living reflection of summer…Blankets are stored, fires fade, and the walls gently dissolve back into their cavities. Sunlight and warmth flow freely through each space, breathing summer’s energy and light back into the heart of the home once more.

This laundry within our latest Southern Highlands build @amberlaneestate was designed with beauty in mind. With @miele double washer and dryers, extended over-cabinet hanging rail, an oversized puppy bath doubling as a flower prep station and inbuilt dog bowls for the most pampered pooch, this room was imagined with a mission in mind- create a beautiful space to feel happy in while tackling even the most boring daily tasks.

In every Wild Orchid kitchen, a tea and coffee nook is essential. For me, morning coffee isn’t just a habit, it’s a cherished ritual. At Romney House on @amberlaneestate , ‘the Oracle Jet’ by @brevilleaus sits comfortably front and centre here, making that ritual both effortless and beautiful. It remembers my favourite blend and, with its AutoMilQ feature, textures the milk to perfection. Sleek and sculptural, it’s as much a design statement as it is a master barista, setting the tone for my day with every pour.

Our Verde marble pieces were specifically designed for our latest project Romney House on our @amberlaneestate in Bowral, NSW. A nod to our core biophillic principles - These pieces were created to reinforce the connection between the home and its surrounding landscapes, and highlight the effortless flow of natural veining within the marble.
Crafted through advanced CNC technology, hand crafting techniques and precision machining, the Verde Collection explores form, materiality and function through sculptural pieces made from solid Verde Alpi marble. Inspired by floral motifs and artisanal weaving, each design contrasts the stone’s weight with fluid, expressive silhouettes celebrating the marbles natural beauty.
