@marieclaireau launched a podcast🎙️ It’s called ‘You’re Gonna Want to Hear This’ and it’s all about the messages, the conversations, the moments that as women, we need to hear. So far, we’ve had everyone from Jacinda Ardern to Leslie Bibb to Rosie Batty on the show. Our guest this week? Australia’s Governor-General, Sam Mostyn. I sat down with Sam for a conversation that I won’t ever forget. We talked about the 24 hours she had to decide whether to take the job - and how even she thought, “Surely there’s someone better.” (Yes, even the GG gets imposter syndrome, which means we’re all doomed). We talked about confidence and why so many women pre-reject themselves before anyone else can. About being a young lawyer in Melbourne and being told she couldn’t wear trousers to court. About equal pay arguments. About misogyny in 2026. About how to argue without anger and stay in the room when it gets hard. What stayed with me most? Her belief that happiness comes from service (not status or power, but purpose). Launching this podcast has been a huge moment for marie claire and we’re just getting started. I hope these conversations make you think, feel, question - and that they’re the kind of episodes that stay with you. 🎧 My chat with the brilliant, warm, wise and iconic GG is live wherever you get your podcasts.

Introducing my girl crush, the woman who stepped into the shoes of ’90s icon Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in Love Story, the biographical series which chronicles Bessette-Kennedy’s career and romance with John F. Kennedy Jr (and is highly addictive watching). The very chic Sarah Pidgeon is the cover star of @marieclaireau ’s May issue, on sale now ⚡️Photography: @ok__mccausland Fashion @chanelofficial

Breaking news! @marieclaireau has launched a podcast! Ok it’s not exactly breaking, but it is very exciting. These episodes feature some of my all-time favourite women (here are just some of the conversations we’ve run since we launched - there’s lots more in the archive and lots to come). It’s called You’re Gonna Want To Hear This, and as the name suggests, these are the conversations you really don’t want to miss. We created it to take our storytelling deeper - because we know you love podcasts as much as we do, and because we have the privilege of meeting extraordinary women whose stories need to be in your ears! We’re only just getting started, and we’ve already hit number 11 on Spotify’s Society & Culture charts. Not bad for the new kid on the block. I’d love you to listen and leave a rating - and of course share away! Also DM me with who you want us to interview 🎧

Thank you to @bed.threads for coming to visit me at home in the Highlands (on a very rainy day). My bed will never look this perfect again. And I’ve never seen such a pretty tablescape. Getting to live out here in the country, surrounded by nature, makes every traffic jam driving up to Sydney worth it. Your long weekend read has arrived, best experienced on the couch with a packet of easter eggs. The spectacular Miranda Kerr is on the cover of @marieclaireau ’s April issue. And yes, this cover made me want to go and cut a fringe, but I restrained myself, having learnt from my mistakes (just because a supermodel looks good with a fringe, doesn’t mean you will). This is our Hope issue - a celebration of women expanding what feels possible. Miranda leads the charge, alongside incredible voices like Governor General Sam Mostyn, Nicole Kidman, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Asher Keddie. The March issue of @marieclaireau is on sale and while I am a little (very) biased, it’s a really brilliant issue. Since we all seem to be obsessed with longevity, we decided to theme an entire issue around the topic. We’ve literally gathered every hack, tip and trick worth knowing. Seriously you’re likely to live to 200 if you read it. We’ve partnered with Estée Lauder on ‘More Than A Number’, a content series celebrating extraordinary age-defying women over 40, whose most powerful chapters didn’t come at the beginning, but in the middle. They left marriages and jobs, started new careers and more. Turns out, life gets more rewarding as we age. For me, longevity is about living a good life. And that’s exactly what our cover star Jennifer Garner represents. At 53, she’s thriving, returning to screens this month in the second season of Apple TV’s The Last Thing He Told Me, and reflecting candidly on motherhood, career, heartbreak, co-parenting and privacy. This issue also marks International Women’s Day which was on March 8. You’ll find a collection of sharp, funny and deeply honest essays about womanhood, including my favourite line from an essay Bek Day wrote: “Being a woman might be the least appealing job description I’ve come across, but I’d still reapply a thousand times.” Doesn’t that just sum it up? And then my favourite feature of all - we photographed and interviewed the women who chose to go flat after having a mastectomy, rejecting the idea that femininity must look a certain way. WOW. I already knew women were superhuman, but these women are something else. It might just be my favourite issue yet. Happy reading ✨

Celebrating International Women’s Day with some of my favourite, powerhouse women. On Friday, we got the @marieclaireau community together for our International Women’s Day lunch, presented by @lorealaunz and supported by @figur_co - alongside our drinks partners @treadsoftlyaus and @champagne_bollinger - to celebrate the power of women’s voices, courage and resilience. We heard from four truly remarkable women: ✨ @AmyShark - the songwriter who turned vulnerability into a superpower, sharing the persistence behind her global success, from years of pub gigs and songwriting sessions to ARIA awards, a new album and now an acting debut alongside Russell Crowe (the film Beast is out April 10). ✨ @ShereleMoodyfemicidewatch — journalist, activist and founder of @TheREDHEARTMovement and Australian Femicide Watch, whose tireless work ensures the lives of women and children lost to violence are never reduced to statistics. ✨ @Noor.Azizah.rohingya — a Rohingya refugee turned global advocate for justice and education, now co-founder of the Rohingya Maìyafuìnor Collaborative Network, working to rebuild and uplift Rohingya communities around the world. ✨ @JessFoxCanoe - Australia’s most decorated paddler and one of our greatest athletes, reflecting on the mindset, discipline and perspective required to perform at the very highest level. Thank you to these inspiring women - and to everyone who joined us - for reminding us why sharing stories is so important and why refusing to stay silent can change the world ✨
