Monochrome of a moody day in Coire Ardair, from Dan @danflower8080 .
Coire Ardair is a classic glacial amphitheatre – 400m of cliffs wrapped around Lochan a'Choire, which stays hidden until you're almost standing on its shore.
The hummocky ground on the approach is glacial moraine; the cliffs above it, ice-plucked schist. It all adds up to one of the most dramatic mountain settings in the Highlands, and in the colder months, gives way to some of Scotland's finest ice climbing.

The @codeofbell X-PAK SPORT is landing with us mid-July.
California-designed and obsessively engineered, CODE OF BELL have spent three decades building bags that solve problems you didn’t know you had.
The X-PAK SPORT sits in the middle of their sling lineup – 7L that expands to 11.5L, X-PAC front compartment, CORDURA main body, FIDLOCK magnetic buckle, and a clamshell opening that makes it easy to find your stuff. You’ll also find modular attachment points, a padded sleeve for a Switch 2 or iPad mini, and a shoulder strap wide enough to carry all day without cutting in.
More details to follow – watch this space.

An easy weekend stomping through the Quantocks for Ruben from WildBounds HQ.
England's first ever Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Quantock Hills AONB was designated back in 1956, and is possibly one of the most underrated patches of walking country in the southwest.
Fifteen miles of heather-covered hills running down to the Bristol Channel, with deep wooded valleys, red deer on the heath, and on a clear day, views all the way across to Wales. Expect lots of tree cover, hidden valleys and enough small streams that you're never too far from a water source.

A great camping trip isn’t really about where you go – it’s about how set up you are when you get there.
The difference between a campsite that feels like a proper base and one that feels like a scramble usually comes down to a handful of well-chosen bits of kit.
This month, we’re pulling together our top basecamp picks – the gear that makes everything easier, more comfortable and frankly more enjoyable, from a Snow Peak fire pit that folds flat into a carry bag to a Big Agnes armchair you’ll genuinely sink into at the end of a long day.
Solid storage, proper lighting, a decent coolbox for the things worth keeping cold. Get the setup right and everything else follows.

Packing well starts with luggage that doesn’t work against you. Db Journey’s Ramverk range covers the full spectrum – carry-on to 108-litre check-in – in lightweight recycled polycarbonate hard-shells that roll smoothly, organise sensibly, and survive grumpy baggage handlers without breaking stride.
The Hook‑Up System lets multiple bags roll as one, double interior dividers keep things where you put them, and a customisable aluminium name plate that makes every floppy luggage tag in the vicinity look a bit sad.
Want the full armour? The Ramverk Pro adds a 6063 aluminium frame for those who prefer their luggage built like it means business.

Resharing this one from @richwilsonoutdoors – around the basin of Lochan a'Chreachain on the approach to Beinn a'Chreachain, the easternmost of the Bridge of Orchy Munros.
Those shadows are something else... thick enough to seem solid, as if they're pooling in the gullies alongside the last of the season's snow.
Classic late-winter colours on the hillside too... bliss!

A far cry from today’s weather, but we couldn’t resist sharing this belter of a pic from Rab (@robertmartin__ )’s trip up Gulvain back in November (his 172nd Munro), with this stunning view down towards Loch Shiel.
Safe to say it has us ‘pining for the fjords’!

There’s a very short list of sandals you can actually hike in, swim in, and wear straight to the pub without anyone raising an eyebrow.
Teva have been at the top of that list since a Grand Canyon river guide improvised the first sport sandal in the early ’80s – and the range shows exactly why.
Whatever your summer looks like, there’s a pair built for it: serious multi-day hiking, adventures that don’t stick to a plan, or just a brilliant everyday sandal you won’t want to stop wearing.
All built from recycled materials, and all backed by a brand that’s kept over 24 million plastic bottles out of landfill. Freedom, without the faff.

Montana-born, Norway-based artist Rachel Pohl has been carrying a Crazy Creek chair on hikes and painting trips for over thirty years. So when Crazy Creek asked her to put her work on one, it made sense in the best possible way.
These two limited-edition Hex 2.0 Chairs feature original paintings – Snow Ghosts, born from an extraordinary Norwegian winter sunset; and Mountain Lupine, a vivid celebration of alpine hillsides.
Underneath the artwork it’s the same trusted Hex 2.0 formula: carbon fibre stays, high-density EVA foam, and a roll-up design that goes wherever you do.

A decent pair of sunglasses is one of those things you don’t think about until you really need them – squinting into low sun on a ridge, battling glare off the water, or just trying to enjoy a pub garden without wincing.
Sunski have spent years getting this right, and their latest drop gives you more to choose from than ever. Paladino brings dual-bridge ventilation for harder days out; Sirocco is built for bigger heads and serious coverage; and Targa offers rare timeless style that doesn’t skimp on performance.
New colourways across existing favourites too, if you already know what you like.
