It’s time for the March edition of the Folklore sessions at the
@vagabundkesselhaus
March is a month that is between February and April, is it snowing? Is it a heatwave? Who knows?!
This month we have one of the strongest lineups I’ve seen in my whole life:
@nasovvv
NASOV is an indie-folk and alternative singer-songwriter whose music achieves something rare, genuine humour and honest heartfelt love songs that end up as greater than a sim of its parts. Originally formed as a band in London before evolving into a solo project led by Italian musician Francesco Garau. Now integral to the Berlin music scene, his performances mix offbeat lyricism with intimate folk sensibilities, creating shows that are as witty as they are heartfelt.
@majdalmasalmeh
I think I read in a book once that Majd Al Masalmeh was born with a guitar in his hands. An intimate mix of contemporary folk and Middle Eastern musical traditions. Performing in intimate settings, Majd creates atmospheric and reflective musical moments that invite listeners into a deeply personal sonic landscape. Unfortunately he will not leave any notes for the rest of us.
@whothehellismone
If you’ve not heard Mone’s music do you even live in Berlin?! Trying to nail down Mones style to one is like trying to balance a ladder on a cloud, is it punk, is it avante-garde storytelling. With some of the most explosive and entertaining live shows you’ll ever see and lyrics that will haunt you all the way to the grave.
I for one would feel like a fool to miss this show, so you know, don’t be a fool…
