@stevenbrown.official founded the art-rock band Tuxedomoon. Their first albums were released by the avant-garde group The Residents on their label Ralph Records, and Tuxedomoon quickly became one of the most influential bands of the 1980s. Steven Brown has lived in Mexico for decades – His body of work now comprises 15 Tuxedomoon albums and more than 20 albums recorded under his own name or with his Mexican bands Ensamble Kafka, Nine Rain and Cinema Domingo Orchestra. He has also composed music for dance (e.g. Maurice Béjart), theatre and, in particular, film.
