God's Country | Official Trailer Only in theaters September 16. I'm so proud of this film and everyone involved in making it happen. It sometimes felt that the world was conspiring against us, but this film persevered beyond anything i ever could've imagined Couldn’t have done it without @sebastient2000 @blakemfarmer @kylegrip

Proud of this little gem that I shot in Albany NY at the end of 2018. Many great folks to thank and a decent soundtrack as well!

#Cinematographer Andrew Wheeler (@wheels41215 ) takes us #behindthescenes of the @liquiddeath #Superbowl2025 spot, shot with #Panaspeed lenses and serviced by #Panavision Woodland Hills. “[The look of the spot is] wholesome and earnest. We really gravitated towards this overall idea that each character, and even the commercial itself, doesn’t believe it’s doing anything provocative or edgy in any way whatsoever. Drinking (water) on the job is great and perfectly okay and healthy, and we fully encourage it. There’s nothing controversial about it. We looked at a ton of old school ‘90s beer commercials [for inspiration]: This Buds for You, Tap the Rockies, and Coors The Right Beer Now. We wanted it to have this feeling of harkening back to the good ol’ days, but without going so far as to make it an artifact of the past. It’s heavily backlit. Lots of strong contrast and deep shadows. It’s warm—everything is very idealized. I have been working with [Panavision Marketing Executive] Mike Carter and Panavision for many years now and [director] Mike Bernstein and I have been working for over a decade together. There’s a history, familiarity, and reliability we can always count on as well as knowing that we can find the right look and tools we need for any given project working with Panavision.”
