Repost • @terrain_art Terrain Talks| Episode 16 📢 Despite risks, collectors remain bullish on the potential for NFTs to revolutionise the art world, in ways both predictable and unpredictable. Join collectors Angad Chowdhry (@angadchowdhry ) and Dheeraj Shah (@dheerajshah ) in conversation with journalist Bhanuj Kappal (@bhanujkappal ) as they discuss the making of an NFT Collector. When Dheeraj Shah, who had been involved with the crypto space intermittently for a decade, first heard of NFTs he was unconvinced. Conversations with pioneers led him to buying up NFTs from collections like Metahero and Pixel Vault, adding almost 200 pieces to his collection. Angad Chowdhry, the founder of Singapore technology firm Quilt.AI (@quilt.ai ) , was drawn to NFTs by technological rather than artistic interest. Like Shah, he had been dabbling with cryptocurrency since the early 2010s, and was impressed by the opportunities opened up by the blockchain technology. "The making of an NFT collector" by Bhanuj Kappal (@bhanujkappal ) Read the full article on Terrain.art. #Repost• @terrain_art We are thrilled to launch our #MyNFTavatar series with performer, philanthropist, author and newly-minted NFT enthusiast Lisa Ray (@lisaraniray ) Swipe to read what Lisa has to say about NFTs. As part of this series, in the following weeks, we will share original digital portraits of art collectors created by @terrain_art artist @thedoodlemafia . Portraits and avatars presently dominate the NFT art marketplace, and rendering portraits in varied styles is part of our effort to introduce viewers to popular digital art trends in the NFT ecosystem. The Doodle Mafia shares her inspiration behind this portrait: "In this portrait, I wanted to capture her strength and beauty as a cancer warrior. She fiercely sports a head full of flowers in all her glory!" Follow this space for more exciting portraits. 👤 #CollectorsTerrain #NFTandme #NFTMarketplace #NFTCommunity
