π’ Our 2025 Annual Report is out!
Through stories from across the country, we highlight the people behind the work β from community-based workers and youth development practitioners to innovators and leaders responding to real challenges in their communities.
These stories show what this looks like in practice, from early detection of malnutrition and supporting early childhood development, to strengthening community-based care, addressing the drivers of violence and opening pathways to opportunity for young people.

1. In the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal,

@heroes_academysa pairs boys with positive male mentors, helping them navigate challenges, build values and contribute to safer communities.

@asiye_etafuleni is testing what accessible and affordable childcare looks like in informal trading spaces, supporting traders and caregivers through practical, community-based solutions.
4. In Riversdale,
@wethinkcode_ and South Cape Technical and Vocational Education and Training College have partnered to train young people from low-income communities in software development, opening new pathways to employment.
