𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸! West Tech Fest 2025 brought amazing crowds and huge energy across Perth, Fremantle and Rottnest Island, with sellout events at West Tech Women, Wadjemup, Freo Startup Fest and First Nations House + our biggest West Tech Main yet. Across five days we explored the future of tech, sustainability, capital, creativity and leadership. From AI and quantum convergence to green finance, climate innovation, circularity, commercialisation and human-centred leadership - the conversations were bold, future-focused and deeply inspiring. But what truly defined the week were the connections - founders meeting investors, unexpected collaborations forming, partnerships taking shape and real deal flow moving through the ecosystem. The kind of momentum you can only create when this community comes together... Big ideas, bold voices and powerful relationships - once again proving why West Tech Fest is Australia’s longest running, and most loved, innovation festival.

From turquoise shores to purpose-led conversations, West Tech Wadjemup brought the heart of the festival to Rottnest Island! And what a perfect day it was to do so… We explored how to reuse, regenerate and reassess the way we build businesses, with powerful discussions on green finance, sustainable infrastructure, circular design and impact at scale. WA is a pretty amazing place to start up a startup! I had to share this vid to share the vibe and give credit to @westtechfest for putting on this networking event each year. West Tech Fest is a full week of startup madness across Perth — but WTF Coast at Pinky’s Beach on Rotto is on another level. People actually slow down enough to talk properly. Somehow every conversation is way more productive than anything back on the mainland. … and yep — we found the ocean lovers in the crowd. Pretty sure a couple of @livingoceansaquariums are now on their way into Christmas stockings. Best event of the year? What do you think?
