Holy Goats, y’all! 🍻🤯🐐 We are so grateful for everyone who came out to Charles Young Park on Saturday to kick-off Lexington Craft Beer Week, enjoy the city’s vibrant local beer scene, and hang out with the goats. Each and every person involved deserves a massive thank you and pat on the back — from the @visitlex stainless cups (that sold like hot cakes), to the folks vending food and beer, to the truly stellar bands, to the good people @lexkyparks who worked with us to do this thing at Charles Young, and to @kystateu for lending us some goats for “racing”. And right down to every person that decided to spend some of their Saturday with us. Our hearts (and stomachs, and stainless steel cups) are full to the brim.
PLUS! HUGE Congrats to our Homebrew Competition winner, who was announced at Bock Fest as part of the celebration. COUNTRY WESTERN 14: THE E.N.D. 💀🪽🥀Hear me and rejoice… the 14th iteration of this West Sixth & Country boy Lexington Craft Beer Week collab has arrived. But what awaits at The E.N.D.? The culmination of flavor? The reveal of truths long obscured?
Of course, but at the E.N.D. there also lies a pale ale that drinks like a double IPA -- double dry-hopped with El Dorado, Nectaron, and Dolcita hops. Big hop oils, soft honey malt, and waves of nectarine, tangerine, peach, and a little dank passion fruit, are all wrapped up in a dangerously easy 5.5% ABV.
Born in 2013 right here in Lexington, Country Western has taken on 14 different forms over the years.
And now… we arrive at The E.N.D.
