Behind the scenes of Mickey, a short film created in 2009 by a group of friends who came together to make a quirky and unusual story about the ups and downs of falling in love.
Now, 17 years later, Mickey will be screening on 30 May as part of @asianfilmarchive Reel Singapore ā a film retrospective showcasing films that have contributed to and helped shape Singaporeās cultural memory.
If youād like to catch Mickey alongside other Singapore films, do come by and check it out at the Olham Theatre from 8-30 May.
A special thank you to the lovely programmers Aishah Abu Bakar, Sophia Siddique, the supportive folks at AFA and everyone who was part of Mickey. It remains a core memory filled with fun, friendship, and the joy of simply making something together.
