@brookelen and
@world.pearce , feels like it is in the midst of coming into its own. The duo’s new project, end of the beginning, feels like a sonic rebirth that takes artistic shots in the dark and aims higher than any of their previous output. In contrast with the band’s last self titled EP, this collection of songs trades the fragile acoustic led balladry that We Shrunk embraced in the past for far more up beat and fleshed out songs that go above and beyond the sonic restraint of the band’s preexisting discography.
