🌊⛰Rising For Our Motherlands 🌺🌿
We are proud to finally share our new podcast — a love letter to our people, our lands, and each other.
Our pilot season draws connections from Palestine to the Philippines, illuminating the deep threads that tie our struggles, our histories, and our liberation together — across oceans, generations, and borders.
This podcast has been years in the making. After October 7, 2023, like so many, our lives shifted — our purpose sharpened. It feels deeply significant to launch this project today: a day that reminds us that Palestinians continue to fight for freedom, dignity, and life in the face of an ongoing genocide. A time that has reawakened our imaginations.
Two years later, we rise for our siblings in struggle — to honor their resistance, share their stories, and dream toward collective liberation.
📢 After a year of dreaming, recording, and creating together, our hosts Maisa & nicky, with our audio producer Cat, bring you Rising For Our Motherlands.
Each episode dives into what it means to rise for our people — exploring histories of anti-colonial struggle, strategies for community care, stories from our lineages, and the power of return.
This is for our ancestors.
For our descendants.
For our motherlands.
For liberation. Always. ✊🏽
Our Rising For Our Motherlands trailer is on Spotify, Apple Podcasts & Spreaker. 🔗 in our bio. Episode 1 comes out October 21.
