MUR/ALL invites you to join us for a ~free~ community art workshop, where you can also help shape the mural that will be painted on the back wall of 918 Bathurst ✏️ signup via link in our bio!
On Sunday, Sept 21 (2-5 pm), come meet the muralists, learn about the project, share stories about the space, eat snacks & create your own cyanotype that will help shape our collaborative mural!
~ all ages welcome, light refreshments provided
~ participants are encouraged to bring personal items for the cynaotypes, especially items with meaning in relation to 918 Bathurst and the surrounding neighbourhood. ex: pressed leaves and flowers, keys and other small items with interesting outlines, glass objects (like bottles), etc
~ ACCESSIBILITY: 918 Bathurst is not wheelchair accessible, unfortunately, the building was designed in the 1950s, and the spaces are accessed via several short flights of stairs. there is no elevator. 918 Bathurst is in the process of raising funds to increase the accessibility of the space and are comitted to making it an accessible venue.

MUR/ALL is a diy + artist-led program, organized by @murallcollective (Wenting Li, Edan Maxam, Caitlin Taguibao). MUR/ALL 2025 will support 8 racialized Toronto-based emerging artists, with priority to queer identified artists.
this year's programming will focus on ~community + collaboration~ 🕸️🌿☁️
selected artists will work together in groups of 2-3 to create a mural for the back exterior wall of 918 Bathurst, drawing inspo from the space + community of 918 Bathurst. Materials will be provided by MUR/ALL + artists will be paid a $350 honorarium contingent upon attendance of ALL workshop, community art, and mural jam dates

We’re thrilled to introduce the incredible mentors for our upcoming mentorship program! Over the next year, they will guide newcomer and refugee artists, sharing their knowledge and experience to help them situate themselves and navigate the local art scene.
Through workshops, one-on-one sessions, and collaborative learning, mentees will gain valuable insights into Toronto’s art ecosystem. The program will culminate in a group exhibition showcasing their work, along with mentee-led workshops.
