An entrepreneur, changemaker, and community leader, Jitka Borowick has never let her fears get in the way of her dreams. It started with the first step – immigrating to the United States from the Czech Republic in 2003 – and continued with the launch of her first business, Cleangreen, five years later. Under her leadership, the eco-friendly residential and commercial cleaning company has grown to become one of the most recognizable and successful on Cape Cod. Jitka’s latest venture, @noveyoga , a yoga and wellness studio in Dennis opened in 2020, is the result of her passion to inspire others to embrace a healthy lifestyle. The 2022 recipient of the Immigrant Learning Center’s Barry M. Portnoy Immigrant Entrepreneur Award for Outstanding Neighborhood Business, Jitka has combined her professional savvy with a desire to give back, both individually and through Cleangreen and Nové. She is a past president of the Rotary Club of Hyannis, a trustee at Cape Cod Academy, and a corporator of the Cape Cod Five Mutual Company.
