To kick off our second Bridges dinner series, presented by Resy, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome James Lowe! One of the most influential chefs to come out of London, known for his precise, produce-driven cooking at the celebrated Lyle’s in Shoreditch.
On April 29th & 30th, James reunites with Sam nearly a decade after they last cooked together in London. Now, we get to welcome James to New York and bring it full circle. Starting April 10th reservations go live on @resy at 12pm EST.
Some things on auction recently that I wish I bought but didn’t.
1. Handerbelt West German ceramic vases 1970s
2. Black leather 3-seater sofa ‘Bastiano’ by Tobia Scarpa for Knoll, Italy 1960s
3. American tramp art miniature dresser & pedestal box
4. Large Navajo Yei wool weaving
5. American School - Sidewheel Paddle Steamer
6. Three American Indian Pomo and Pima coil baskets
Yesterday Bridges received a Michelin Star! Every part of our team contributes so much to our special restaurant and we are so proud of them. To be recognized alongside our friends, neighbors and the restaurants we admire is a true honor.
What makes this especially meaningful is how young we are as a restaurant — barely a year in — and to be acknowledged at this stage feels both surreal and deeply motivating.
Let’s celebrate!
Much love,
Sam, Nic & Josey
