This Fender Jazzmaster (I’m told it’s an early 60’s body) is definitely my most sentimental attachment as far as an instrument is concerned. We’ve been through alot together! Iceland, China, Philippines, South America, Japan, Russia you name it, this work horse has never let me down (except that one time in Tromso Norway).
It has a distinct bite and attack that I’m yet to find anywhere else. I’ve used this guitar on the majority of METZ records and a fair number of Weird Nightmare tunes too.
Big thank you to Zak at Superfuzz Audio in Toronto for keeping it in working order over the years even when I neglected to treat it kindly. He once had to remove all the wiring due to excessive corrosion caused by my on stage sweating! Gross. Sorry Zak.
