I met Hanna @cafeotodalston when she was playing drums with Träd Gräs och Stenar @tgs_tradgras .. the show was a sublime consciousness-expanding experience… @personality___crisis@chrisrotter6666 I’m sure will agree ….Some months later she asked me to make something in response to this incredible record. Of course I was super happy to do this !

A little late on the uptake.. a book I designed last year for @tomos_pp … the book follows a sketch book feel interweaving Tomos’s collection of drawings, marks, notes and scribbles from sketchbooks he made during the years setting up @bratrestaurant@brat_climpsonsarch and @mountain.restaurant . The book also features a series of killer posters from the inimitable high plains Hackney drifter and stable mate @personality___crisis . Completely unavailable to the public this is a deeply personal book, here’s sneak peak…and thanks to @georgieh.p for getting me involved in this one 🔮🌋🌋
I’ve been meaning to post about these works for a few weeks but have been locked into a zone with multiple projects…….We @heretic_spectral_nation have been making a lot of these works over the last few years. We have shown various works from this series at our exhibitions the last couple of years. We have been working with @thewrongshop shop to reproduce these original works in a way that sympathetic to the originals which we hold at the studio….We are super happy with how they have come out, the detail and colour is so so intense. Epiphenomenon Pressings
These works emerge from our process and exist in dialogue with previous series. Hand crafted pressings collaged and composed using screen-printed masking papers, process discards, each piece of paper is a removed negative print area from an Eraze Phaze work. The paper, torn, ripped, and gnarled from the masking process, is reimagined, re-purposed and recast. Each composition evolves through an improvisational approach creating a dynamic interaction of texture and form that celebrates the beauty found in the discarded and the overlooked. These delicate compositions are encased in stasis between glass.
