Our Texas teammates were excited to be able to donate our 30+ bikes we recently built at our Fall Texas Field Supervisor Meeting —to students at Bagdad Elementary School in Leander, TX!
The bike donation was part of the school’s Cookies with Santa event and needless to say, there were some happy kids who were selected to receive the newly-built bikes!
We were happy to bring a little holiday cheer to these deserving students at Christmastime!
This year, the best gift we could ask for is the incredible people who make our work possible. To our amazing team, valued clients, and trusted partners: thank you for your dedication, collaboration, and support...wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas! #Grateful
Kudos to our Rocky Mountain Brighton Water Treatment Plant crew for being named our December, 2025 Crew of the Month!
This $20M project with Garney Construction (GC) started in September, 2023 and is comprised of a new construction water treatment facility with improvements that include installation of new pump systems, an electrical feed, and controls to operate pumps. The project is expected to complete in April, 2027.
This project is led by Mike B. (Superintendent), Mike B. (Project Manager), and Tyler S. (Estimator). Team members include: Aaron S. (Foreman), Anthony Chavez S. (Apprentice), Brandon K. (Apprentice), Calob G. (Apprentice), Christopher P. (Foreman), Hunter F. (RTT), Jocelyn H. (Apprentice), Joseph Q. (Apprentice), Joshua C. (Apprentice), Joshua P. (Apprentice), Kenneth H. (Journeyman), Kevin F. (Foreman), Manuel L. (Apprentice), Matthew S. (Apprentice), Megan R. (Journeyman), Omar M. (Apprentice), Robert P. (Apprentice), Vicente S. (Foreman), Zach M. (Apprentice), and Julian C. (Apprentice).
Said Butler: “The entire crew at Brighton WTP is doing an outstanding job. This is the biggest and most complex water facility we have built thus far, and the team is meeting or exceeding expectations at every turn. In fact, the project is currently ahead of schedule by more than 60 working days. Mr. Baltazar has created a culture where every team member wants to excel. I also want to give special thanks to Chris P. and Jesse V. for their leadership as well. The successes we're seeing now have already manifested in new opportunities to continue working with Garney, as they invite us to pursue future work together!”
Congratulations to our team for your outstanding performance leading to this Crew of the Month recognition! #CrewoftheMonth #teamwork #excellence #WeifieldWay
Congratulations to our Project Workbench crew for being named our Texas Q4-2025 Crew of the Quarter!
The Workbench project is a design-build collaboration with Swinerton that began in September 2024 and is scheduled for completion in January 2026. The four-story mass timber building with an underground parking garage will serve as Swinerton’s new Austin, TX office.
According to Daniel E., Weifield Texas Superintendent: “Throughout the project, the team has faced several challenges, including limited parking and delivery access, high-end finishes throughout all spaces, and the requirement for no exposed conduit within a concrete and wood-finished structure. Despite these challenges, Ruben and Daniel have done an outstanding job navigating complexities, problem-solving, and continuing to push forward to deliver the owner’s and client’s vision. Their dedication and leadership as well as the entire team’s performance have played a key role in delivering a high-quality project that adds a distinctive piece of architecture to the Austin area and contributed to the project being recognized as Crew of the Quarter.”
Led by Ruben Candelas (Superintendent), the project team consists of Daniel C. (RTT), Brian A. (RTT), James F. (RTT), Ivan F. (Apprentice), Issac O. (Apprentice), Jose A. (RTT), Aaron S. (Apprentice), Carlos P. (Apprentice), Lindsay W. (Apprentice), Isaac J. (Apprentice), David A. (Apprentice), Jose C. (RTT), Ryan B. (Apprentice), John M. (RTT), Manuel O. (RTT), Miguel C. (Journeyman), Isaac Perez H. (RTT) and Jean M. (RTT).

On Saturday, December 6th, Weifield partnered with Independent Electrical Contractors - Rocky Mountain (IECRM) to sponsor a truck and pull a float in the 2025 Colorado 9News Parade of Lights in downtown Denver, Colorado!
Lucas F. (Weifield Rocky Mountain Preconstruction Manager) was this year’s driver for the Santa float, capping off the parade. All of the families were very excited to see Santa!
Thanks to Lucas for driving and decorating our Weifield truck!
