We celebrated the launch of our collaboration with Mizuno at WeekEnds @luxelakes.cpi , bringing together friends, community, and our shared idea of the ideal weekend escape. Built around the Mizuno x WeekEnds Cruiser SE, the event moved between city and nature throughout the day. Guests joined us for fly fishing workshops, outdoor BBQ, music, local craft beers, and a slower afternoon spent around the lake with people who love getting outside just as much as we do. The Cruiser SE was designed with that same balance in mind. A shoe inspired by weekend escapes beyond the city, equally at home on wet trails, river paths, gravel roads, and everyday streets. The colors pull from forests and streams, while silver details reference old SUVs, river stones, and movement between environments. Huge thanks to everyone who came through and helped make this one feel special. And thank you to @mizuno_sportstyle for trusting us on our first project together. More than a launch party, this felt like the beginning of something we hope to keep building with all of you.

Our friends @pathout.co spent three days in western Sichuan, heading into the plateau outside Chengdu. The trip was based near Changba Village, surrounded by mountains, pasture, and high-altitude lakes. In April, the landscape shifts throughout the day. Light moves constantly, and the terrain changes between deep blue and green across forest, meadow, and open land. The days were spent moving through it. Hiking between forest and lakes, stopping often, letting the environment set the pace. No fixed agenda, just time outside and attention on the surroundings. The @hanwagofficial Makra Pro GTX was worn throughout. Lightweight and stable across mixed terrain, with a GORE-TEX lining for changing conditions and a durable leather upper built for extended days outside. At night, the group gathered back at camp beneath the mountains. Fire, music, and a slower rhythm as the temperature dropped and the day came to an end. Across the trip, there was movement through forest, along rock, and into the village where daily life continues alongside the landscape. A few days of walking, observing and tuning out.

We’re excited to have @outopia.run on WeekEnds. Founded by a collective of trail runners and industry veterans, it’s a brand that didn’t come out of a strategy deck but out of real movement, built mid-stride, shaped by time in the mountains and the need for things to simply work. Headquartered in Shanghai but connected to a global trail community, Outopia is grounded in a simple idea: design gear that disappears so you can focus on the experience of moving through nature. What stands out to us is how intentional everything feels. Outopia works primarily with ZQ-certified merino wool, but this isn’t about heritage or nostalgia. They’re rethinking it, blending natural and technical fibers, refining construction, and dialing in weight and performance so pieces regulate temperature, resist odor, and adapt to the body over time. It’s not about adding more, it’s about doing less, better. Outopia feels like a quiet shift in how outdoor gear is approached. Less about conquering terrain, more about belonging to it. It’s a brand built on movement, but also on restraint, where performance isn’t loud, it’s felt.
