One of the best things about doing what we do is seeing the unique stamp every couple puts on their own wedding. Every one is unique, with couples imprinting their own idiosyncrasies on their day.
For Bethan & Michael's big occasion, they went seriously large in that regard!
Their first dance - Talking Heads' 'This Must Be the Place' - began as a regular first dance for the opening instrumental minute of the song. And then...it changed. They bust out the mics as the first verse kicked in, in what became a surprise karaoke, to the delight and astonishment of the assembled guests, with Bethan & Michael sharing vocal duties.
And this was no spontaneous outburst...they'd properly rehearsed, including a full dance routine. No mucking about with these two!
We absolutely loved the idea, the ingenuity of it, and it was executed seamlessly. It was an explosion of pure joy, amazement and music, and kicked off an hour of what for everyone else was an impromptu karaoke sesh.
Genius!
The joy, of course, was not confined to the karaoke session - it only marked the start of what was a HUGE and incredibly memorable night for everyone present. Happy days!

Five Four Studios is a great venue for doing this, more or less a blank canvas that gives you the room to put your own personal spin on the space and make the venue unique for your event. We love being a part of this aspect of the process and it's a top way to customise the look and the feel of the set-up!

Expect to hear plenty of reggae, ska, latin, hip hop, dub, funk, house and even drum & bass takes on the wonderful music created by John, Paul, George & Ringo.
The Beatles Dub Club drew in huge crowds during the 2022 festival season with thousands of punters showing up to watch the show at Boomtown Fair, Glastonbury, Shambala, Green Man & Bluedot amongst others. The year finished off with a personal invitation by Fatboy Slim to perform at his 'All Back To Minehead' Weekender at Butlins.
In 2023 The Beatles Dub Club was toured extensively across the UK, as well as making some appearances in France, Austria and a sell-out event in Bristol. Thousands of festival attendees watched the show at such festivals as Latitude, Isle of Wight & Camp Bestival and Far out Magazine listed the show as one of the Top 20 Alternative Acts to watch at Glastonbury alongside such heavyweights as Hot Chip, Mike Skinner and Leftfield.
2024 saw the show making huge waves abroad with gigs in Australia, New Zealand, Bali & France as well as another huge summer UK tour hitting up over 50 festivals and venues.

It's almost a month on and we've just about recovered from Sophie & Phoebe's absolute stonker over at the brilliant Left Bank in Leeds.
First up, shout out to Left Bank...a Grade II listed former church, and a truly stunning space. Feast your eyes on that first pic by the top snapper Hamish Irvine - what a place! 😍
Our DJ Bex kept the grand old venue wobbling all night with a whole heap of eclectic rammers from the likes of Gaga, George & Aretha, Madonna, Sabrina Carpenter, Elvis, Caroline Polachek and loads more.
