Uncompromising and feral post-black metal trio STILL announce their long-awaited sophomore full-length album A THEFT through emerging new UK label Floodlit Recordings - founded by PIJN guitarist and studio engineer Joe Clayton.
Breaking new boundaries of savagery, the Hull, UK based trio will follow up their impressive 2021 debut album with A Theft this November, distilling the band’s sound into their most intense and cutting set of songs yet. Still’s cutthroat performances and nuanced compositions have been captured in fine textured detail by Joe Clayton at No Studio in Manchester (home of recordings by Bossk, Mastiff, Underdark, Wode, Wallowing and many more).

A Theft, will be released on November 15th on limited run Vinyl variants, CD and Tape formats featuring hand-printed and assembled artwork. Still will be the first band outside of Pijn to release new music on Floodlit Recordings.

Thank you to everyone who has given it their time, purchased a copy, shared it with friends, reviewed, booked us to play, came out to see it live, or just liked social media posts.
We decided not to have it on Spotify back in 2024 because we didn’t want bad people profiting from our grief. It’s hard to say if this was helpful or hindering but ultimately it doesn’t matter. The love shown by those who have engaged with us on our terms and the connections made through this record have been a joy to experience. Your support has also set us up ready to record our next album and for this we are most grateful. We urge anyone making and releasing art on Spotify to reconsider. You don’t need it.

To commemorate one year of A Theft, released 15th Nov 2024, we are releasing these limited edition 12” Dust Jackets and Earth Positive Hoodies.
Thank you for the support you have shown us and this record. Performing this album throughout the past year has been both nourishing and taxing, thank you to all those who have shared these experiences with us, we appreciate you.
Dust Jackets are limited to 30 and screen printed by hand by @fsr_fsr_fsr / @miscprintco on Ebony Colourplan 350gsm from @colorplan_papers using waterbased ink.
Limited Dust Jacket + 12” bundles will be available from our bandcamp, @floodlitrecordings webstore and on our merch table until they run out.
Hoodies are also limited to 30 and printed on EP301 garments from @continentalclothing using waterbased ink. These garments are brushed 3-ply 300g, 100% cotton, organic, carbon neutral, oeko tex approved, peta approved, FairShare.
