Working alongside @morgansindallconstruction , progressive delivered the full roofing and cladding package for the new Liskeard Hub, with works starting in July 2024 ahead of the building opening this spring.
Built on the former Liskeard Cattle Market site, the hub brings a range of key public services together in one central location.
The building includes the Family Hub, Registrars, Adult Education, Safe and Wellbeing services, and the Department for Work and Pensions, creating a space designed to better support the local community.
Designed to meet CarbonLite standards, the project places a strong focus on reducing embodied carbon while improving long term energy efficiency.

Huge congratulations to Corey on winning Young Roofer of the Year at the @nfrcltd UK Roofing Awards 2026 👏
Unfortunately, Corey could not make the awards night as he was away on holiday, so a few of the progressive team collected the award on his behalf.
Corey’s journey into roofing is a brilliant example of hard work, determination and the right attitude.
Starting work at 14 while still in education, he showed real commitment from an early age, and those qualities still shine through in his apprenticeship today.
On site, Corey works confidently with minimal supervision, regularly showing initiative and problem solving skills beyond his level of experience.
His drive to learn has seen him complete his functional skills at college in just one month while progressing quickly through his portfolio.
He is also a great team player, always willing to support others, contribute ideas and keep improving.
Corey represents the next generation of roofing in exactly the right way and shows what can be achieved with the right attitude and commitment.

We recently spent the day supporting the @exeter_chiefs_community Engage Education Program 🤝
The program works with young people who are disengaged from mainstream education and require additional support. It helps them re-engage, build confidence, and succeed in a more supportive environment.
Good to catch up with our former director Andrew Bassett, now putting his time into supporting young people who just need the right environment and opportunity to move forward.
Good progress on site at the new leisure centre in Trowbridge, working alongside Pellikaan Construction Ltd.
We are due to finish our works in June 🏁

Celebrating 4 years of John Loader 🎉
John comes from a flat roofing background, and he’s been doing it since 1978.
Back when Saturday Night Fever was everywhere and Grease was on the big screen, John was already on the tools.
When Nathan Stephens offered him the job and asked if he could start on the 1st of April, John had to double check it was not a joke. Fair enough really 😂
Four years on, he is still here.
Ty Darran in Risca, Wales is a later living development delivering 45 one bedroom apartments for residents aged 55 and over.
Completed last month, the scheme brings together modern design with a strong focus on energy efficiency, helping to reduce carbon emissions and keep running costs down for residents.
The original Ty Darran care home closed over a decade ago and was demolished in 2023, making way for the new development which started the following year.
Working on behalf of Caerphilly County Borough Council and @willmottdixon , we were appointed to deliver the single ply and felt roofing systems.

A well deserved award that reflects everything Andy has faced over the past year.
