Fabrication work done by @wadefab and last but not least entire project was planned and built by my team @horsepowerlounge
As many of you know we found the limits of our clutch and the guys over @rpsclutches are sending us over a unit the vipers are using and proven to hold over 2k TQ 🥊 The car will be out soon to test, jobs not done. For those that care and have followed this build, the time has come to retire this setup. We planned going to @race_motive this weekend for a Hail Mary pass to crack 200mph but our clutch didn’t make it in on time 🥲. On a side note, this build was nothing but legendary. For my 2jz guys that understand, OEM 2jz block from the junk yard, stock crank, 6 injectors, 80m turbo (no promod needed), stock oil pan (no dry sump, @syvecs_ltd ecu tuned by @wayneosan on @oneethanol last but not least I wanna thank @hpl_jamo for such a legendary build. Brought a 🔪 to a gun fight and shanked my way through. This has to be the most fun and competitive platform I’ve been apart. Absolutely no change to my car from last season till now. You guys really pushed me and I thank the competition for making it fun 💪🏽 There will always be someone faster BUT with that being said Im him right now 😮💨
For those that are not aware of this event and how it works, it’s a no prep 1700ft race with a start speed no faster than 65mph. For comparison a 18-900whp GTR traps 195mph 😳 being we’re RWD it’s quite the challenge to keep it straight @wayneosan@hpl_jamo@horsepowerlounge once again delivered as promised. The car has more in it but I’ll wait till someone steps up to the plate..
