After 19 of the absolute best long weekends of our lives, we are very, very excited to present you our 20th Birthday Edition.
Grab your best crew, leave your troubles in the big smoke and let’s dance, laugh, camp, eat, chat, swim, hug, drink and more once again with 900 of the best people on the planet Sep 26-29.
All the usual great main stage music, cinema, speakeasy, dancehall, yoga, nice food & drinks, projections, the rock, the salt pond and more. Band-wise we have some incredible artists covering country, disco, rock and roll, blues, hip-hop, reggae, African desert blues, Indonesian psych-funk, dub, psych-chill, house, soul and much more.
Maybe even bring your best cowboy/cowgirl attire for the Saturday night 20th birthday hoedown!
Even in the worst of times, every single year since 2005 this event has always had a special place in our calendar and has consistently restored our faith in music and people and just how great people can be.
Our team has delivered more than 9000 music events around Australia since 1993 and really nothing even comes close to Wave Rock Weekender in our hearts; the connections, the community, the interactions, the place, the good times and the feelings of it all.

What a Weekender!!! Still finding our feet here but thanks so much to everyone for turning up, getting it, doing it right and treating it right once again. Hard to believe but the Weekender is 20 next year and we will mark that in a massive way and pull out all the stops.

It’s a new wave! Our 19th Wave Rock Weekender is here and we continue our quest to make the perfect cocktail of good times, great people, eclectic music, nature and freedom.
Once again, in the all-original, sweet-spot 800 capacity format, we’ll make the best weekend of joy and wonder in the greatest Caravan Park in the known universe.
Looking at the world in 2024 there is no better time to leave your troubles behind, reconnect and make memories with your besties, in an amazing place with a diverse and inclusive line-up of bodacious & righteous music, great food & booze, speakeasy, cinema, nightclub, salt pond and for those who know, so, so, so much more than can be explained in words.
We’ve widened our indigenous and cultural consultation this year and our excited to be working with our new cultural partners Ballardong Aboriginal Corporation who will guide and inform us through the weekend.
