Inspired by one of South Carolina’s most haunting legends.
In 1851, Julia Legare was laid to rest too soon in the family mausoleum on Edisto Island. When they opened the tomb years later, they found she had tried to escape… and ever since, the door refuses to stay sealed.
This season, Wasted Wine, a Greenville, SC based band, share that story in song — a Southern Gothic ballad of candlelight, stone, and the open door.

🎻 Catch two unforgettable performances by Wasted Wine during Fireforge’s Polish Fest, both Friday May 1st from 6-9 pm & Saturday May 2nd from 1-4 pm. Wasted Wine is a Punk Folk band from South Carolina whose live performances are filled with humorous cabaret theatrics and blistering violin solos. Amidst the southern drawl in the band’s sound there are also strands of Eastern European music. Their musical output has earned attention from regional and national media outlets, with NPR describing their sound as “a bastard child of David Lynch and Nick Cave.” There is a $5 Entry Fee for ages 13 & up on both Friday and Saturday of Polish Fest.
