PLANETART and WARP are joining @enschede Lights Up Festival 2022, a 2 km light route along special light projections in the city of Enschede from Th. Dec. 15 - Su. Dec. 18.As part of the route you will also visit Stationsplein Enschede, where we went all out with the installations HEXASEQUENCER and Light Portals, large-scale audiovisual and interactive psychedelic Gesammtkunstwerken by local artists that are accompanied by live performances of sound designers and DJ's, under the ever-watchful eye of our robot overlord Metropolis. Get ready for a sensory journey across all dimensions. ️Today these two beautiful people started interviewing the creatives of Warp Technopolis. Humam is working on an interactive documentary and Simone is making a book about the Warp community. @unhumam and @simxnedekker are both studying at @saxionnl right now and decided to do their graduation project about Warp. Very excited about the end result.

Meet Souvenir, a project of @thomfloris. Souvenir is an animatronic persona which performs a theatrical play. It explores themes such as guilt, angst, loneliness and the gothic.Here's to hurt, chivalry and childhood.Thom Floris is a young multi-disciplinary artist working within the fields of deejaying, audiovisual performance, video art and leftfield sonic electronics. The outtings of his profound fascination for internet culture, the human condition and sonic extremities manifest themselves in ways that aren’t always ethical, but are always polarizing nonetheless. You can mostly find Thom in the basement of WARP Technopolis aka @blackbrick.underground.

De Sektor presents: KULT.party on the 21st of October at WARP. De Sektor selected for this event the finest musicians, artists and creatives that can be found in Enschede. During this event De Sektor presents its manifest about strengthening the cultural field of Enschede. It kicks of at 17:00 and will go on until 05:00. Damage: signing the manifest. Location: basement of WARP aka @blackbrick.undergroundAbout De Sektor: De Sektor represents emerging talent, (DIY) event organizers, (digital) makers, Cultural Incubators (also known as "De Rauwe Randjes") in relation to local politics. This is for the purpose of developing a long-term vision regarding culture, climate and cultural policy.De Sektor tries to counterbalance a bureaucratically controlled cultural market by mirroring a flexible long-term vision and continuous reality to policymakers.De Sektor is a representation of the Enschede underground that mirrors reality to policymakers for a long-term cultural vision and reflection.Artwork:@stijnbolhuis_

The Warp community expanded! Since today we are taking care of the new plant residents that are part of the plant shelter/art installation LEAFDE by @tonnieuwenhuis. It was opened by @burgemeester_enschede in the new community room on the 2nd floor. And ofcourse, @spacecat.mowgli can’t wait to check out all the new plants.About the installation: the Augmented Reality installation LEAFDE focuses on "the right of the plant" and explores how the narrative of plants can be used to tell the human story. The stories in this specific installation are based on the stories of people in Warp. The AR plant shelter tells the story of plants, but thereby also the story of the people in the plants' lives. It makes complicated themes such as inclusivity, subsistence, multiple perspectives and ownership more approachable and open for discussion.LEAFDE is developed during a production trajectory within @crossxtic under the guidance of @tetemkunst and with the great technical skill of @comfortstud.io
