On Saturday it’s the new moon, and we are sharing new performances by Jo Dahlbäck @guldconny and Petros Mandalos @the_pipina . 16 May, 4pm. Trolls and pickles included. Two separate works, one shared material: memory. What we inherit. What we soak in without noticing. What is simultaneously ours and someone else’s. A year of working in parallel at the MA Performing Arts as Critical Practice, Malmö Theatre Academy, two practices in conversation. Trolls: @linnhalo & @paliserk 🔗Link in bio for free tickets 📸©Jo Dahlbäck and Petros Mandalos Warehouse9 is supported by @statenskunstfond and @koebenhavnskommune

🥒Do you remember the Pickle Sisters? Maybe you tried one of their cheeky games, or maybe you still have that sweet and salty taste of brine in your mouth from reliving your queer memories with them at the Pickle Bar. Next week, the Pickle Sisters are returning! This time in a different setting, but still investigating memories in the collective brine.  As part of their study program at the MA Performing Arts as Critical Practice at Malmö Theatre Academy, Jo Dahlbäck @guldconny and Petros Mandalos @the_pipina will be sharing their performances here at @warehouse9.dk 16th May 2026.  🎟️Tickets: Free, sign up via link in bio 🕐16.00 - 17.00: First sharing - with Jo Dahlbäck and Petros Mandalos 🕐17.30 - 18.00: Second sharing - with Jo Dahlbäck
Jo Dahlbäck’s performance investigates how a formal meeting becomes a space for memory, where participants gather across past and future. Together with Jo, we will perform shared memories, layered into a collective past, looping between “then” and now. All assisted by two shy trolls played by @linnhalo and @paliserk
In Petros Mandalos’ performance, we will be sitting inside the collective brine of memories and look at what we’ve soaked up, what we’d rather spit out, and what we actually want to keep. In the brine of politics and history, memories turn sour or strange. Pickling, here, is what we do when we can’t throw something away but can’t keep carrying it either. 🔗Learn more about the performance sharings and Jo & Petros via link in bio. In collaboration with @teaterhogskolanmalmo as part of their study program at the MA Performing Arts as Critical Practice. @warehouse9.dk is supported by @statenskunstfond and @koebenhavnskommune    Access Information @warehouse9.dk has a level entrance and a gender-neutral accessible toilet, reachable via a certified stairlift. All events are run as relaxed spaces, with a safer space policy in place. We kindly ask visitors to orient themselves to the space and policy upon arrival. 📸©Jo Dahlbäck and Petros Mandalos

Andreas Haglund is currently artist in residence at @warehouse9.dk , working on their upcoming group piece REALLY (working title), premiering at @dansehallerne , May 2027. In this residency Andreas is exploring social dances that originate in the club and result in identity formation. Through an insistence of both groove and abstraction, they’re studying the performative nature of relational dynamics. When does conflict arise? How does desire between bodies flow? All the dance material is inspired by the choreographer and the individual dancers embodied archives of club dances. Memories of being wrapped up in a dance floor for hours become the foundation for a choreographic exploration of the social. Light-hearted yet sincere celebration of the culture of queer nightlife, its performances, its dances, its music and most of all, its people. @andreashaglund1000 (b. 1996 in Stockholm, Sweden) works as a freelance dancer, performer and choreographer in and around Stockholm, Copenhagen and Malmö.
Their artistic practice centers explorations of the somatic, material and aesthetic coherences between queer lived experience and the cultural conception of nature. On stage, in dance practice and in text. He is an active member of Dance Cooperative; a platform, dance studio and venue for leftist dance practice and performance organized by 12 professional artists in Copenhagen. Through this framework he has facilitated several performance events, presenting both his own works and collaborations as well as hosting other artists and their works.   Choreography: Andreas Haglund

🍔 Forplejning inkluderet! 🔗 Link i bio for tilmelding. Emptiness, intimacy and a battle cry for love. Discover two films from our programme with @queercitycinema , presenting April 9 - 10 at @warehouse9.dk .  The Living Wardrobe by Martí Madaula Esquirol | 18:00 min Martí arrives in Bilbao for an artistic residency. His clothes take up only a small part of the huge wardrobe in his new room. When he meets someone, the wardrobe gradually begins to fill up. But where did the emptiness go, the free space, the little corner of his own? Did the wardrobe swallow it all, or was it love? MML by Dorian Wood | 3:10 min MML captures the spirited battle cry of Dorian Wood’s love anthem in a series of transgressive images. 🎟️Tickets are pay what you can/want - book now via link in bio. ✨If you can’t donate, no ticket needed - just show up as you are.  @queercitycinema is funded by @canada.council@warehouse9.dk is supported by @statenskunstfond , @koebenhavnskommune , and @vanloeselokaludvalg .

Poetic resistance, rebirth, long distance intimacy, and T4T love. Discover four films from our programme with @queercitycinema , presenting April 9 - 10 at @warehouse9.dk .   Pandrog by Jard Lerebours | 1:21 min
Pandrog is an exploration and poetic call for Black people to escape the terms and identities created by western imperialism. Two lovers run away from Babylon, a subversive look at gender and its trappings within the Black diaspora. Queer Dream Triptych by Matt McKinzie | 2:30 min
Frames from Donald Fox’s psychedelic Omega — that ‘deals with the death and rebirth of mankind’ — are newly suffused with a poem written by the filmmaker during a period of personal transformation related to sexuality, chronic illness, familial trauma, and queer ancestry. — MIX NYC Heart Shaped by Grace Mitchell, Sofia Theodore-Pierce | 13:00 min
Heart Shaped examines the transient lives of seven guests staying at a themed hotel in Wisconsin. Self and strangers overlap through shared spaces and improvisational choreography. Letters between the two filmmakers explore blurred identity, long distance intimacy, and the erotics of collaboration. “One hand on the clit, the other on the mind.” You can’t get what you want but you can get me by Samira Elagoz & Z Walsh | 13:00 min
A unique slideshow documenting two long-haired trans men falling madly in love. Over the course of one year, the artist couple Samira Elagoz & Z Walsh gathered photographs from real-life events such as their first kiss, meeting each other’s parents, long-distance thirst traps, a beach wedding, and top surgery and its subsequent recovery. A sweet and steamy celebration of T4T love with life and art all tangled up. 🎟️Tickets are pay what you can/want - book now via link in bio. ✨If you can’t donate, no ticket needed - just show up as you are. 18+ @queercitycinema is funded by @canada.council@warehouse9.dk is supported by @statenskunstfond , @koebenhavnskommune , and @vanloeselokaludvalg .

Performance and artist talk by Lou Sheppard, April 10th, 7pm - 9pm at @warehouse9.dk .  Crepuscular Rhythms is an ongoing participatory performance by Lou Sheppard that explores dusk as a queer time of day. Together we will create large scale cyanotype prints of our bodies which will then become a record of queer exposure in the half light at end of day. While we collectively engage in this act of queer exposure, Lou will lead a conversation about queer visibility, resistance, and queer futurity, interwoven with texts and reflections from queer elders. Crepuscular Rhythms is a part of our film and performance programme with @queercitycinema .  About Lou Sheppard  Lou Sheppard, @shep_shape , works in interdisciplinary audio, performance and installation based practices. He has performed and exhibited across Canada, notably at The Art Gallery of York University, The Confederation Centre for the Arts, and at Plug-In ICA, and as part of the first Toronto Biennial, as well as internationally, at Kumu Kunstimuuseum in Estonia, in the Antarctic Biennial, and at Titanik Gallery in Finland. Lou has participated in numerous residencies, including the International Studio Curatorial Program in Brooklyn, NY., La Cité des Arts in Paris, and as participant and faculty at The Banff Centre. He has been longlisted for the Sobey Art Award in 2018, 2020 and 2021, and was the winner of the Emerging Atlantic Artist Award in 2017. Lou is a settler on the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq in Mi’kma’ki/Nova Scotia.  🎟️Free event! - no ticket needed, just show up as you are. Learn more via link in bio. 🥒Pickle Bar: A performance installation by Jo Dahlbäck and Petros Mandalos, April 9th, 7pm - 7.40pm at @warehouse9.dk . Meet pickle sisters Pickle-Petros and Pickle-Jo in this homely bar performance about preservation and memory and the weird way stories survive over time. Their Pickle Bar performance installation is a part of our film and performance programme with @queercitycinema , in collaboration with @teaterhogskolanmalmo . In a cozy community bar, you’re welcome to have a chat and a shot, eat a pickle, share a memory and play minigames. You can come and go as you like, and return for more. The bar is a space for deep conversations and silliness; the pickles are carriers of memory, but aren’t they also just curious to look at? The pickle bar is an intersection for their artistic research. Petros is interrogating trauma as an atmospheric condition and the role of necropolitics in shaping contemporary identity archives. Jo is working with objects holding memory, like portals between different times, and looking at ways to perform queer timelines, both in relation to past, future, and fictional times. ✨About Jo Dahlbäck & Petros Mandalos Jo Dahlbäck, @guldconny , is a theatre maker, scenographer and costume designer based in Stockholm/Berlin, working in theatre and performing arts. Their practice is rooted in queer methodologies and collective processes, exploring how performance can challenge power structures and social norms. They are particularly interested in challenging normative understandings of time by proposing ecological and queer temporalities. Petros Mandalos, @the_pipina , is a theatre-maker, writer, and interdisciplinary artist whose work unfolds through queer perspectives on performance, memory, and resistance. Moving between theatre, visual storytelling, and installation, he creates hybrid forms that expose the cracks between the private and the political. 🎟️Free event! - no ticket needed. @queercitycinema is funded by Canada Council For the Arts. @warehouse9.dk is supported by @statenskunstfond , @koebenhavnskommune , and @vanloeselokaludvalg . #vildmedvanløse
