Drawing from post-anthropocentic thought, Wang & Söderström dismantle the binaries such as nature vs culture, human vs machine, organic vs synthetic. Their work does not illustrate these ideas but gives them form, creating hybrid objects and immersive installations where these distinctions collapse. A belated recap of 2025: We gained plenty of grey hairs and developed our project management skills more than ever (are we just getting older?). We were busy with retopology, ant pheromones, co-infections in kids, needle work, gua sha and hap coils. 2026 is a year of movement. Wang & Söderström turns 10 years this summer and we are looking forward to the new projects and collaborations ahead. Last autumn we launched our sister studio @new.orb . A divide in our practice to make the division between artistic exploration and design service based projects clearer. It is October 15th, aka Global Handwashing Day, as everyone knows and celebrates! 🧼🫧🤝 How fittingly then that you can pre-order these soaps we made in collaboration with @tvalaochtvaga for the occasion of ‘Sharp Feelers - Soft Antennas’. ‘Smaklöken’ (The Tastebud) is made from Tvåla och Tvagas ‘Skina’, an organic dish and hand soap that cleans effectively and is very gentle. Scent: Grape, rosemary and black pepper. Usage: DISHES – LAUNDRY – CLEANING – HAND ’Larven’ (The Larva) is made from Tvål och Tvagas ’Prima bi’, an organic lavender-scented soap with beeswax and honey from Flor’s farm on Gotland.
