Long before photography became instant and endlessly reproducible, image-making was a slow and deeply physical craft - such a reminder of that era where I stood and felt all the past crossing by 🌫️

Came across a basket-weaving house in what used to be a craft village more than 100 years old. Back then, many families made a living from weaving bamboo baskets. Today, only one house continues the work, keeping the technique alive as both tradition and business 👐🏼 #ShotonIphone a lot of photos today during this scouting trip 📱 only to share a few words thinking about what’s gone, what’s left, and how time slowly lets things fade in life⏳🎈
Our first trip in January took me back to the former imperial capital of Vietnam, where we shot this campaign in one of the city’s most remarkable historic locations. Proud to be part of the team presenting @jonathan.anderson ‘s first collection for @dior to the Vietnamese fashion community and admirers of the house as seen on @esquirevietnam 💚

2019 memories with Marie Claire Korea @marieclairekorea and the late Lee Sun-kyun, captured moments in Danang, Vietnam with @henrycottonskr - before the Parasite movie took the world by storm 🤍🖤 Some memories grow softer, and more precious with time. Always love being involved in sharing the beauty of Vietnam in every way possible.

uninterrupted, the serene.
I find my calm in the small, unnoticed moments. In these gentle pauses, I feel time soften, and for a moment, so do I. My phone loosely in my hand, filming only what asked to stay a little longer. The wind keeps moving, bicycles pass, a motorbike cuts through the frame, an old man rides by while another continues on foot. A vendor walks her bicycle, baskets swaying, still looking for customers. Life goes on, uninterrupted. As I find myself wandering -what would go on unnoticed if I weren’t standing here to see…
what would I miss …
