If you are getting married at @waldenchicago , then this is for you! This venue is one of my favorites and so excited to be back there again a few times this year. The bridal suite alone is worth it, the lighting is beautiful, the space is generous, and the furniture and textures make for incredible getting ready photos that actually feel elevated. Then you have the white wall in the ceremony space which is clean and timeless and works for just about everything. The black wall in the reception room is one of those hidden gems that many people may not think to use but it is absolutely perfect for a first look or intimate portraits that feel a little more moody and dramatic. The brick wall and photo booth area which basically does all the work for you. And of course, the rooftop!! The energy shift as soon as you step outside is incomparable and makes for the most fun photos! The range in this venue is genuinely unmatched, and I love showing couples what is possible here before they ever arrive on their wedding day. Wanted to take a minute to share a moment of simplicity with one of our couples whom I love so much. During these tumultuous times, I tend to have a difficult time posting. But, my friend Becca said it well- that we need beautiful things as a reminder, something to appreciate and to have a moment to take a breath. I thank her for that reminder. 💕 So while things in the world don’t feel so simple, nor black and white, I wanted to she one some of my faves from Emma and Dan’s sleek vision. Emma and Dan managed to intermix modern minimalism with the best blow out celebration ever.
