Two Medals for Latvia at the European Wakeboard Championship!🎉🇱🇻🤩
At the European Wakeboard Championship in Deltebre, Spain, two Latvian riders 🇱🇻earned bronze medals: Roberts Liņavskis in the Master Men (30+) group and Atis Bogomazovs in the Veteran Men (40+) group.
Liņavskis scored 56.56 points, finishing third behind Swiss riders Maurus Zwicker (66.44) and Sascha Gattiker (57.78). Competing at this level for the first time, Bogomazovs scored 46.34 points, taking third after Germany’s Dominik Lindemann (53.89) and France’s Daniel Duquesnoy (59.78).
Latvian U14 champion Valters Baltausis also competed but did not reach the finals.
The championship, held October 13–18 in Deltebre, brought together 104 athletes from 12 countries, with Latvia finishing 8th in the team ranking.

🇱🇻 Roberts Liņavskis wrapped up his third World Games appearance in Chengdu with a strong semifinal finish in boat wakeboarding! 💥 After a standout qualifying run that saw him advance ahead of German and Chinese riders, he faced off against legends like Massi Piffaretti 🇮🇹 and Shota Tezuka 🇯🇵 in the semis.
Roberts earned his spot at the Games by winning the Masters (30+) division at the 2024 World Championships — proving once again he’s among the best. 🔥🌊
