@theargumentwv was finally back at @123pleasant and it was a nostalgic night to say the least. I was too young to experience the 123 shows back in the day but now I’m making up for lost time with these reunion shows. Back in California after a 13 year hiatus! Balancing site seeing and Disneyland was a tough feet in only 4 days. However, we hit almost everything on our lists!! We couldn’t quite score an in at the Oscars but we DID risk our lives in a Waymo. Driverless vehicles actually became our preferred method of travel! 🤖🚕

My not-so-guilty pleasure has always been… @jessemccartney . I always listen to this album in the fall and have done so since I was in the 5th grade. 😂 There were a couple hits on this one but honestly the production of the whole album is super underrated in my opinion.

The one where @wearethefarside becomes BFFs with @chapelusa at a @dreamfone show. Columbus was fun and the show was incredible.

Friday was a night filled with pure nostalgia hearing all the old and new tunes from @theargumentwv . @mfwarder was my guitar teacher when I was a kid and solidified my love for the instrument. I met @crusselldrums in college when I filmed a few @popshopwv sessions for a class project at WVU. I always assumed I missed my chance at seeing them live… until this past weekend! I finally got to meet @scottsimonsmusic and @bunnerbrent as well! 🤘🏼Seeing them together again on stage at the @robinson_grand was incredible! . To make it even better, I also got to play keyboard and synth with @lastyearsmodelband to kick the night off. They’re great dudes and such talented musicians. Performing on that stage was such a blast! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the event!!

Lives get busier and friends slip away—a disheartening fact of life. @adamfox227 captured that feeling in these lyrics. He brought it to me to build upon that idea through the music. Fast forward more than a year later, still navigating those busy lives, we finally have “Get2U”. I love how the production of this song turned out. From the guitar tones, to the synth selection, to the ear candy effects, I couldn’t be happier! Then @jmart_thegreat came through and gave some additional guitar flavor and an incredible solo. We’re getting really good at turning sad topics into head-boppers. Lol The song was then leveled up AGAIN by the unstoppable mix and master duo that is @joshbonanno and @mosesmastering . Forever grateful to have a pipeline like this. 🙏🏼 Anybody that writes and releases music knows that it doesn’t happen overnight and I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on the process. The same process that used to bring me a lot of anxiety is now something I truly enjoy—no matter how long each song takes. Lol Stick around the next couple of weeks to see how @yomanaustin , @alextriveri , @stefantriveri and @jmart_thegreat level up @wearethefarside once again. 🤘🏼

Well it was quite a year! I really tried narrowing down to 10 photos but I just couldn’t. I decided to do a quick video instead. Extremely grateful for my family, old friends, and new ones. Goodbye, 2024! 👋🏼

The 2024 @mtncraftfilmfest was a success in my book! So great to meet/catch up with everybody that came out this year and see what’s going on in the filmmaking community in our state. 🎬 . It didn’t really click with me until the week of that I was fortunate enough to play a part in several different films that played at the festival. Sharing details on those projects below. ⬇️ . THE CAMPFIRE was written by @loganbilbrough and @r0bsimm0ns . I was brought on as the Director of Photography, Composer, Post-sound mixer, and Colorist. 🤓 . DANCING DICKS was written, directed, and colored by @jaketay_photography . Edited by @jeffbloggess . I was brought on as the Director of Photography and Post-Sound Mixer. . TRIAL 54 (MCFF 2024 Award Winning film 🎉) was directed by @davisrohrer . @mikey.damico + @davey_robinson were both Directors of Photography. I was hired to do some sci-fi VFX that I had a lot of fun with. . MOVING ON was written by @r0bsimm0ns and I got to help out with the music production, mixing, as well as play some synth and electric bass on the song. . AMBROSIA was directed by @tsunamigainsbourg and David Gravely. I was the location sound recordist, on-set and post VFX supervisor, and was the post-sound mixer. This was my second feature I have ever worked on and it was wild to see it on the big screen. . If you made it this far in the post, it actually makes me feel uncomfortable that you’re THAT interested in my work. Go for a walk or something. 😊👋🏼

“Santa’s Whiskey” by @thehemispheres / @splashofsoda - It has been quite a December but I always find that playing guitar and singing is almost meditative for me, especially during stressful and uncertain times. I’ve loved this short Christmas EP from The Hemispheres for nearly 6 years now and never thought the lyrics would ever hit as hard as they do this year.
