My first reel I’ve made in a while, but the strides that the shop has made have been an incredible blessing. Here is to an active, ambitious, and fulfilling 2026.

For those that don’t know my company: The 6 Shop was created by former, and currently serving members of the U.S. Armed Forces. We are a film making team comprised of passionate filmmakers, who have either served our country, or just want to bring striking and heartfelt storytelling to brands, initiatives, non-profits, and the narrative world. Although the team is not exclusive to military based content, The 6 Shop always remains loyal to its roots, creating non-profit content and workshops for our veterans seeking a skill set in the media arts.

The goal was to make a complex science fiction film in a short weekend, with a production budget under $5,000, and a small crew with multiple locations. It was ambitious, lofty, maybe naive, but pure passion and persistence made it just another day of work.
•
Trial 54 is a short film that takes a new perspective on the question of the human soul. With my history and experience of seeing how Alzheimer’s and dementia can affect those you love, I became obsessed with the idea of knowing that answer, or more importantly; finding out what can happen to somebody when chasing that answer.
•
This film is nothing without the unstoppable cast and crew that was a part of it. You can always make something good by yourself, but you’ll never make something great without a team.

Last batch of photos from the Iceland trip. What can I say that I haven’t said before, other than it was perfect to be there with my incredible wife. The only thing that would make it better is if Rhea was there. It’s a trip we would do over in a heartbeat. The idea of this country feeling like another planet, is something you need to experience.
