Windy N Ranch will be hosting and teaching all about sustainable livestock production on organic pastures. Learn about the practices this family owned diversified ranch uses to raise grass fed and finished beef, pastured pork and free range chickens, and management of certified organic pastures. 🐓🌱

About the Event:
Wali will provide an overview of primary principles of biodynamics including viewing the farm as an organism, cosmic influences on agriculture, the biodynamic preparations, composting, and recognizing the non-material (spiritual) aspects of life when engaging in agriculture.
About Wali:
Wali Via is an Oregon farmer and biodynamic pioneer. He serves on the board of the Biodynamic Association and was past president of the Oregon Biodynamic Group. He is also an active member of the Fellowship of Preparations Makers. Wali just retired after 50 years of organic/biodynamic farming with Organically Grown in Eugene, OR. Wali has lectured on biodynamics, composting and sustainable agriculture in Japan, Canada, and all over the United States. He has been practicing, making and using biodynamic preparations since 1976.
