Yesterday ice melted.
I served raspados to strangers, friends, workers, families, children & passersby. Some stopped for sweetness, some stopped for the message and in that moment we melted ICE together.
I brought a block of ice engraved with the text “F*** ICE” on a raspado (shaved ice) food cart.
Then placed it in front of the immigration courthouse at Federal Plaza 📍, facing the powers that cage and deport. A sharp blade, grit, and heat turned the block into sweet resistance. The street drank the message.
This was my offering. Free raspados in the summer heat. A ceremony, a protest, a prayer and blessing made public.

There’s a moment when reflection becomes image, and image becomes movement , when the whole surface breaks, reforms, and begins to behave like something alive. That moment is the work.
A moiré apparition flickers through the panels, waves crossing waves as the image comes apart and gathers itself again.
The panels catch every shift in light, every step, every angle, and the imagery contained within them only disappears and reappears through motion. It can be hidden or displayed.
We engineered the sculpture to respond to the world around it, a kinetic skin that reads the room and changes with it through viewers touch and movement.
An interactive system of motion, memory, and light.

Light carries its own memory.
It gathers, drifts, and opens up a space the body feels first.
We shaped that essence into a surface the body scans like a suncode. A field of movement, reflection, and rhythm.
