It’s that wonderful time of year when we mush a bunch of improvisers together, give them a coach, and see what happens! Coached Ensembles registration is live!

$5 IMPROV NIGHT is back in a big way! 😻
Wednesdays at 7pm, Vermont Comedy Arts presents some of the funniest long form improv teams our community has to offer! This month, local comedy group AUNTIE GREGG hosts/headlines this wild hour of spontaneous fun, featuring different guest teams each week. It's a variety of styles and it's always a great time!
After the 7pm show, the night breaks out into an improv JAM, where absolutely anyone who wants to give improv a try can jump onstage -- and those too chickenshit can sit and watch. ;)
It's only 5 bucks (free for students!) and it beats sitting on your couch on Wednesday night. What're you waiting for? CHECK IT OUT!
Drop-in was PACKED today AND a standup writers group was chillin’ in the cafe feat. guest appearances by former Burlingtonites @max_headgear , @tiny___nuggins and @amitrani all the way from NYC. What a day!

I’m super excited to announce this new series I’m running at @vtcomedy as part of @vtcomedyarts ! (And to explain to everyone why I was taking so many pictures of a rubber chicken yesterday)
Watch comedy, take it apart!
DAY: Saturday, April 25th
TIME: 12:00pm — 1:00pm
Sometimes you just want to know WHY something works, and that’s what this series is all about!
Join us to watch an improv scene/show, then (with the aid of our very own Director of Education, Sam Kurnit) go over all the moves and discuss what worked, what didn’t, and most importantly, why!
For this edition of The Dissection, we’ll be watching: From Ally to Zacky - Getting a Tattoo on Friday the 13th https://youtu.be/bB1ESv06hkI?si=YAaILOPYiJ7OrmiM
(you do not need to watch it in advance as we’ll be watching it as part of the discussion)
So step into the observation room and join us for The Dissection!
Our first Lunch & Laugh was a ton of fun! 30 min of improv followed by lunch and conversation in Happy Place Cafe. We’re doing it again next month and registration is open now!
