Meet Jordan Walker, @vt_engineering 's Outstanding Senior.
What started with a high school drafting class and a few “find your major” quizzes turned into a passion for water resources engineering, mentorship, and serving others through civil and environmental engineering.
Congrats, Jordan!
What started as a quick campus visit turned into an unforgettable journey for Nichole Dorn.
After graduating, she joined @kimleyhorn as a civil engineering analyst and recently earned @vt_engineering Outstanding Master’s Student Award for her achievements in sustainable land development. 🥳
Congratulations, Nichole! #VTCEE
A bold vision for the future 👏🤩

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating poetry, community, and creative expression. Khadijah Queen, associate professor of English, closed the evening the way Nikki always did — with a toast to poetry.
In the words of Nikki Giovanni: “We write because we believe that the human spirit cannot be tamed and should not be trained.”
Here’s to the storytellers — past, present, and future.
Here’s to Nikki. ✨
A new demonstration facility is opening doors for @vt_engineering Hokies. 🌱
Virginia Tech and Aclara Resources are advancing an Americas-based green tech supply chain with a new rare earths separation pilot plant at the Corporate Research Center, giving students hands-on experience to prepare for industry careers.
If balancing D1 athletics and an engineering major seems impossible, well, dozens of Hokies from @vt_engineering are proving otherwise. 🙌
Meet a few of those Hokies. ➡️
