Exploring DC’s Hidden Treasures with @cmaa_ncc
Procon’s Sally Clark, Jessica Hill-Wachter, Justin Chang, and Abbey Sheasley joined our JV partner, Brown Construction Services, and fellow construction management professionals for a guided architecture tour of the Dupont Circle neighborhood. The experience was led by local real estate legend and social media star, Joseph Himali, whose passion for DC architecture and history brought the city to life.
A highlight of the tour? A stop at The Cairo apartment building where we learned the real reason behind DC’s 130 ft. building height limit (hint: it’s not the Washington Monument!).

Procon’s Spring Open House: New Look, Same Strong Partnerships
Last night, we opened our doors for Procon’s annual Spring Open House—welcoming 60+ partners, clients, and friends to our HQ to celebrate, connect, and share a great evening together.
This event marked our first open house showcasing Procon’s new, modernized brand, and it made the night even more meaningful to experience it alongside the people we have worked with for years.
There’s something special about stepping away from job sites and emails to catch up in person—not just with our business partners, but also with colleagues who are often spread across projects and locations.
A big thank you to our chef Victoria Cortes at @sungoldkitchen for the incredible catering—crowd favorites included the caramelized bacon and Caesar kale pasta salad.

Heather has chosen to direct her charitable winnings to support her local high school’s tennis team, turning friendly competition into meaningful community impact.

He understands why people are concerned. He founded an AI-based start up, InstinctIQ Inc., that’s automating multiple functions of a PM/CM firm.
But his take is fairly optimistic: change is uncomfortable, and no one knows exactly what the future holds, but those who are able to adapt and embrace change might be able to spend more time doing what they’re good at and less time doing busy work.

Procon had a blast participating in Hokie Focus last month, co-hosting a tech showcase with @keresh_afsari and her team at @virginia.tech Myers-Lawson School of Construction in the Procon Innovation Center in Hitt Hall.

Changing seasons, decades of constant public use, and aging infrastructure have taken a visible toll on many of Washington’s historic parks. For example, the large-scale fountain at Meridian Hill Park has been inoperable for years.
Procon is proud to provide construction management services for the @nationalparkservice on a fountain restoration project that will rehabilitate iconic fountains across the city, including Freedom Plaza, Dupont Circle, Lafayette Square, Meridian Hill Park, and more.
