Expect a night built for weight and atmosphere: bass, dub techno, deep low-end pressure showcasing a new wave of highly talented Chinese artists pushing sound-system music into darker, more immersive, atmospheric/ritual/tribal territory:
@vsloria
@joemodub
@charlieowooo
@mattisnowhere
Joemo approaches dub as pure communication, frequency as language, vibration as message. His sets tap into sub-bass hypnosis and tactile rhythm; if you want a taste of his world, search Joemo Dub and his EP 甲木 · WOOD on Bandcamp and streaming platforms.
Charlieowo began her journey in psy, then expanded into a wide-spectrum blend of four-on-the-floor and bass music that slips between genres. Expect intricate textures, shifting drum patterns, and a sound that pulls you in and doesn’t let go.
Also joining from Hong Kong is mattisnowhere, founder of Formless. Deeply influenced by deep bass, dub, hypnotic rhythms, and ambient soundscapes, Matt blends diverse elements into intricate, experimental sonic journeys—balancing tranquility and intensity, from pulsing deep beats to driving, fragmented drum patterns. Beyond the booth, he explores the integration of music and spatial design through Formless, curating environments that treat music not just as sound, but as a vessel of emotion—something that transcends language and connects people to their inner consciousness. Come early, stay late—this one’s for the heads, the dancers, and anyone ready to start the new year in the dark.
