🎨 This powerful artwork by local Virginia artist Faithe Norrell @faithenorrell reminds us that democracy is both art and action. 💜 Voting isn’t just a civic duty — it’s a direct line to equality and justice. When we cast our ballots, we lift up movements like the ERA and demand that equality under the law isn’t a dream, it’s reality. Show up, vote, and make your voices visible. Art inspires. Voting acts. Equality wins. 🗳️ Want to vote in person on Nov 4 in Virginia? Visit the official “Voting on Election Day” page for what you need to bring and how to find your polling place → → https://www.elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/in-person-voting 💃 Fun fact: There are elections all across America on Nov 4. Check your local sources and get out and VOTE! /Elections_calendar

Stop by and check it out! 💜 Voting isn’t just a civic duty — it’s a direct line to equality and justice. Yesterday, we reignited our outreach to college campuses at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va. Our own social media director @jlgaylor (who almost forgot to snap a photo😬) got to speak with students in a 200 level government class, and they were full of great questions about nonprofit advocacy! PLUS- they got merch, courtesy of @kate_kelly_esq and @yosquirt 👏🏻☺️ AND-got to view the trailer for RATIFIED, which will be premiering MONDAY on @pbs with @independentlens (Overheard: “ooooh I’m definitely watching that!”) Get the PBS app and tune in yourself Monday Oct. 20th starting at NOON!

Y’all. WE’RE BACK! We missed you! Mark your calendar for a JOYFUL RUCKUS! We are over the MOON- RATIFIED the film is here! In 2017, a cross-generational, bipartisan movement led by Black women fought to make Virginia the 38th state to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. The result was a clash over a century in the making. Watch @independentlens Ratified on the PBS app starting October 20. #IndieLensPBS SQUEEEEEEE
