This is specifically to help raise money for Unmuted, our new programming aimed at putting on events that showcase queer and women led bands.
There’s gonna be drinks, prizes, food and @creature_party_band is performing 💜
Please mark your calendars, it’s gonna be a ball, err, gala.
We’re a nonprofit and we need your money…please, pretty please, pretty pretty please.
We’re using it for a good cause, launching Unmuted. New VB programming focusing on events featuring queer and women led bands.

Slowdivision take post-punk to a new level. Elements of hip-hop, post-hardcore, shoegaze, and garage rock intermingle and create a pensive gumbo. That isn’t to say they’re going to bum you out, quite the contrary, Slowdivision are exciting, vibrant, and unique. You can enjoy them leaning against the wall with your eyes closed, but I highly suggest dancing along with everyone else. This room will have walls that are sweating. Also….I don’t know what this means, but while I was listening to their album on YouTube, Better off Dead immediately started playing after. So…what does that tell you?
Picket Line may reside in Seattle but they rep the power of New York Hardcore with the earnestness of DC Hardcore. Luckily, they omit the machismo of the former, in exchange for the cultural awareness of the latter. They’ll swing fists in the pit with the best of em, and will absolutely pick you up if you fall. Tie your two step shoes on tight, and bring a bag of ice…as well as an ICE whistle. This one may get nasty. Think Sheer Terror meets Minor Threat.
